In connection with the decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority of 25 November 2024 approving the amendments to the Rules of the ATS Guarantee Fund adopted in Resolution No. 29/638/24 of the KDPW_CCP S.A. Supervisory Board dated 26 June 2024, the amendments enter into force on the 1st January 2025.

The amendments are designed to:
 

• align the aforementioned Rules with Articles 65 and 66 of the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments, as amended - amendment of the legal basis for the regulation;
• changes to the provisions regarding fund accession - a declaration will not be required in order to join a fund (making the first payment to a fund will be tantamount to joining the fund).

The content of the new Rules of the ATS Guarantee Fund remains unchanged for existing participants as compared to the previous wording.
